In 2008, Mike Sullivan left one of the largest executive suite companies in the U.S. to launch aBetterOffice.com, a site dedicated to providing advice and information to mobile professionals, telecommuters and seekers of alternatives to traditional office space. Mike was looking for a real estate-savvy editor and found one in veteran business journalist and new media entrepreneur Jennifer LeClaire.
What Mike didn’t know was that through her daily coverage of the serviced office industry, Jennifer would soon recognize something Mike had long dismayed: Many companies in the serviced office space look exactly alike. They use the same marketing messages (if they do any marketing messaging at all). They offer the same amenities (with a few notable exceptions). And they look about the same to the office space seeker (many of whom are just getting acquainted with the concept).
The dynamic duo behind Office Suites Media decided to do something to help forward-thinking executive office suite companies change all that. Mike and Jennifer believe CEOs who understand the benefits of strategic public relations, marketing and design today will be among the leaders of the serviced office industry tomorrow.
Mike and Jennifer started Office Suites Media for two reasons: to help raise awareness of the executive office suites industry and its unique value proposition and to help its clients stand out from what is becoming an increasingly crowded competitive landscape in which most companies look, well, almost exactly alike.
